Didn’t take many notes for this day, but we probs got up at 6 and picked bell pepper (called “piman”, pronounced “peeman”, at which I don’t think I’ll ever forget. It’s funny enough in English, but if you translate the English into Danish, it’s even funnier. Danes will probably get it).
At the end of the day, we watched a tv dance and music show consisting of only women (some of them dressing and singing like men), and apparently that’s pretty popular; at least in this house; they knew many of the artists’ names, and I think the youngest of the daughters of the house told me that you have to go to a special school to be a part of the team. I won’t refuse to admit that I found it fairly boring though, but whatever. They have great voices though!
Another thing is, that I hate to admit it, but I do get a little homesick in the evening – that’s the only time though. I don’t know why it comes to me at evening, but maybe because I have a lot of time to think. Until this day, I’ve also had a little trouble communicating with the girls in the house. I mainly blame myself though, as I’m a little shy because I for some reason am more scared of making a fool of myself in front of the kids because of my (poor) language than I am in front of the parents and grandmum. It’ll probs get better though.
