18/9 - Short and boring

Another pretty quiet day without too much work. Started the day early though; we were out of the house at 6, picking peemen until 9 and I was COLD. The night and mornings are getting pretty cold; for the first time I actually froze. My feet and fingers were pretty cold; not to the point where my nails go blue, but I think it was close.
We had our breakfast delivered; onigiri (handshaped rice balls) with umeboshi (pickled plum; I’ll admit it’s not my favourite filling for onigiri), but luckily they make up a very small part of the actual onigiri, so it’s wasn’t really a problem, lol.
So after we’d finished off picking them, it was, as usual, time to cut the stalks. Such static work really makes your back (and ass, because you sit on a box) ache. Weren’t too many to cut, so it didn’t take long.

Lunchtime, after that, time for my “sampo” (walk/bike ride). I again went to the playground, did a little fooling around, watched some people walking dogs and was reminded of my own three at home. Oh, I could really use my Nala! ^^

Afternoon work was little. From 4-6PM I cleaned up in the peeman house; it’s something I usually do without anyone around me.

Right now, I’m writing this with Michika next to me. She’s just shown me some new Pokemon, hehe. I suddenly get nostalgic; I only know the first 52 (right? that’s with Mew and Mewtwo included? Never mind; I don’t remember, but those days were awesome!)
I think she might want to play a game on my pc, so I’ll let her ^^

No pictures today! A pretty boring day, but I only have half a week before moving on to… maybe Hiroshima as the first main destination. Or maybe I should take a look at Beppu to try out some hot spring resorts!
